Terms of Service
Effective date: August 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReadingHand browser extension and its related services ("ReadingHand"). By installing or using ReadingHand, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
ReadingHand is a browser extension that displays a guiding hand that follows the word being read aloud on supported platforms such as Raz-Kids™. ReadingHand is an independent product and is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Learning A-Z or Raz-Kids™.
2. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ReadingHand for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. Each license key is valid for one device at a time and must not be shared or resold.
3. License keys and subscriptions
- You agree not to share, distribute, or resell license keys.
- You agree not to bypass, disable, or circumvent the extension's activation, licensing, or security mechanisms.
- We may suspend or revoke a license that is used in violation of these Terms.
- Subscriptions are subject to the terms of the payment provider used at checkout, including renewal and cancellation policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or its underlying technology.
- Use ReadingHand in any way that violates applicable law.
- Use ReadingHand to interfere with or disrupt the platforms it works with.
- Distribute, rent, or sublicense ReadingHand without our written permission.
5. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue ReadingHand (or any part of it) at any time. We may also modify these Terms; the latest version will always be posted on this page with a new effective date.
6. Privacy
Your use of ReadingHand is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains — in plain terms — that we do not collect personal data and never sell or share your information with third parties.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
ReadingHand is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that ReadingHand will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every version of the platforms it works with.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of ReadingHand, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
You may stop using and uninstall ReadingHand at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, in which case any license keys issued to you may be revoked.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReadingHand operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
